Julia Gargano is a 21st century born-and-raised Staten Island singer/songwriter whose musical and lyrical instincts lean on the bell-bottom era’s storytellers like Joni Mitchell, Carole King and Simon and Garfunkel while still embracing the hook obsessed, A.D.H.D. listening world she lives in. Being an “over-analyzer” of life provides her plenty of inspiration to spill relatable stories wrapped in memorable melodies covering the good, bad, and the ugly cry.

Julia studied vocals at LaGuardia High School in NYC and composition at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. 2020 was spent completing her music degree and performing on the American Idol stage. Julia placed Top 7 in America but is most proud to have been voted the fan-favorite of the season, which led to a performance on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan. She is now traveling, working with other artists and songwriters from around the world. Julia is presently (and happily) losing her battle with being obsessed with all things music.
